The historic Shawnee Playhouse was built in 1904 by CC Worthington. In 1943 musician Fred Waring, of the Singing Pennsylvanians, began broadcasting his famous radio programs nationwide from this stage. Today the Playhouse is a professional, non-equity theater. 2021 marks our 42nd year producing professional summer stock musicals and plays.
