In 1969, Emmanuel Mullet, son-in-law Robert Miller, and friend Dan Lehman bought a 75-seat restaurant located in a renovated hardware store in Walnut Creek, OH.  They set out to share the hearty, made-from-scratch meals of their Amish and Mennonite communities. Today 2 of Emmanuel's daughters and their families continue the tradition. Dutchman Hospitality includes six restaurant, four inns, six bakeries, seven shops, and 500-seat theater located throughout scenic, small-town Ohio, Indiana, and Sarasota, Florida. Even though we have grown throughout the years, two things haven't changed: We remain firmly rooted in the values and traditions of our Amish and Mennonite heritage and we continue our commitment of connecting the talent and trades of local craftspeople to our beloved communities and customers.

The Ohio Star Theater's mission is to inspire and entertain through the powerful medium of live theater, bringing timeless biblical stories of faith and hope to life.  Each performance is an uplifting journey that encourages reflection, connection, and joy.  Through out the year, the Ohio Star Theater also presents concerts. Feel the spirit move you as you experience soul-stirring performances from renowned southern gospel artists, bringing heartfelt messages and uplifting melodies that resonate with audiences of all ages. Our tribute bands transport you to the golden eras of music, delivering spot-on renditions of your favorite hits while paying homage to legendary artists. In addition to music, we also showcase a lineup of talented comedians who promise to deliver laughter and joy, making for a perfect night out with friends and family. Performances begin in February and run through December. The Ohio Star Theater is the place to let your heart sing and your spirt soar!
