Living the Experience- A spiritual, interactive reenactment of the Underground Railroad in Lancaster PA. Patrons are able to step inside the shoes of Africans seeking their freedom in Lancaster County and hear first-hand from abolitionist who helped shape the area in in the antebellum period. Sharing this story since 1998, the production is housed at Bethel AME Church. The church was founded in 1817 and is still active today. After the production, a southern style meal is served, and a discussion is held about what was taught. Local vendors are on site for keepsake purchases. You'll never experience History like this!
